5 New CBA/ YLS Programs You Should Know About YLS Lawyer Engagement and Development (LEAD) Series This free professional development series is geared toward large and mid-sized law firm associates but is open to all members. The group meets monthly at law firms around the City. Upcoming topics include: Large Firm Economics, Generating Business by Serving the Community, and Developing a Coveted Expertise. www.chicagobar.org/ylsLEAD Mentoring Programs The CBA now offers three different mentoring programs including a formal lawyer-to-lawyer mentoring program offering CLE credit, informal group mentoring based on practice areas and the Alliance for Women mentoring circles. www.chicagobar.org/mentoring Future of the Profession Series Events, special projects and articles developed throughout the year will address what is no longer working for the legal profession as well as open discussions as to what alternatives exist to create a legal profession where job satisfaction and success are not at odds.
