Meet CBA President Judge Thomas R. Mulroy

Judge Thomas R. Mulroy is on a mission: to help attorneys find pro- fessional fulfillment and opportunities to serve as agents of change in the broader community. Few share his breadth of experience: serving as an Assistant United States Attorney; rising through the ranks at Jenner & Block; starting and growing his own law firm; joining McGuireWoods; and serving as a Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division-Commercial Calendar. Judge Mulroy’s many accomplishments have instilled a deep appreciation for camaraderie, teamwork and transcending the law to serve broader society. When asked about the defining moments in his life, Judge Mulroy immediately shifts the focus from himself to the big picture, filled with colleagues, context and implications for the future.
