the justice system, wrongfully accused and convicted of crimes they did not commit. He speaks about the angels who helped him, but he too has gained his wings. Read this book and if you can, meet this man. He is a person of incredible faith and someone who was wronged by the system, but who turned that experience into helping those who otherwise might not have a voice.

I met Adams a few years ago at a con- ference in Milwaukee, where he told his story. We have since become friends, and he has spoken to several groups to which I belong but the narrative he gives when he presents is nowhere close to the power he brings to this book.
