The situation is such that you can publically discuss in detail the nature of a case handled by the law firm across the hall, but cannot make even passing reference to a case you handle yourself. Even though the appellate reporter states that you argued a case before the court, you may not mention it yourself. Nevertheless, it does not look like the Rules will change any time soon. The best advice is to keep confidential all informa- tion learned in the course of representing a client.
