A ny runner preparing for the Chi- cago Marathon this month will tell you, you don’t get to 26.2 miles without a little–and in some cases, a lot–of discomfort. I will take them at
their word–a marathon is not in the cards for me–but after a pleasantly sedentary existence (and by that I mean mostly short walks to my favorite restaurant), I spent the summer training for a half marathon. If
