Counsel General to Chicago, Aviv Ezra, and his staff are working closely with us in securing speakers for our programming and events from the highest levels of Israel’s Government. In addition, we are hoping to have special presentations on Israel’s advancements in technology and health sciences. The Amsterdam extension (two nights) includes: a walking tour, grand canal cruise, tour of the Anne Frank Haus, welcome cocktail reception and dinner on Sunday evening. The CBA group will arrive in Israel on Monday, April 1, for a four-night stay in Jerusalem, which is one of the oldest cities in the world and was identified in the execration texts of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt in the 19 th Century, BCE. The ancient settlement of Jerusalem was founded as early as the Bronze Age on the hill above Gihon Spring about 4,500 BCE. The CLE programming will be held on two mornings at Hebrew University. Planned tours for Jerusalem include: walking tours of the old city, Segway Tour of Old Jerusalem, Bethlehen and Jericho Day Trip; Masada and The Dead Sea; Jerusalem Yad Vashem Holo-

caust Museum Tour, and Mahane Yehuda Market Tasting Tour. Also included will be a welcome reception and closing dinner. A Tel Aviv extension is also available for those who would like to extend their visit. Illinois Supreme Court Dinner The Illinois Supreme Court Dinner will be held on Friday, December 7, at The Palmer House Hilton. The evening will begin with a reception for members and guests at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. This year’s speaker will be the Court’s newest Justice, the Honorable P. Scott Neville, Jr . Tickets for the black tie optional dinner are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table of ten.
