I ncreasing voter access and exploring the hidden impact of evictions on families and neighborhoods will be among the topics of important social justice conversation as the Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Foun- dation mark Pro Bono Week 2018. The annual event, which began in Chicago in 2005 and has now become a national observance, will take place Oct. 22–26 with programming designed to recognize and raise awareness of pro bono work and also encourage Chicago- area lawyers to engage in pro bono efforts to make the justice system more acces- sible for all. The events planned for the week are based upon the theme “The Power of Pro Bono.” As part of the week’s events, the CBA

Lawyers attending the fair will be able to meet with representa- tives from more than 40 legal aid, pro bono, community service and mentor- ing organizations to learn how they can provide the type of pro bono service that best meets their interests.
