To celebrate Women’s History Month, Past CBA Presidents hosted a discussion on strategies for leadership success in the legal industry. 2025 Nominating Committee The 2025 Nominating Committee, chaired by former CBA President Timo thy Tomasik, has selected the slate of new officers and board members. Judge Nichole C. Patton, Circuit Court of Cook County, will succeed to the office of President. Trisha M. Rich, Holland & Knight, will become First Vice President, and Kathryn C. Liss, DePaul University School of Law, will serve as Second Vice President. Jonathan B. Amarilio, Taft Law, will serve as Treasurer for a second year, and Andrew W. Vail, Jenner & Block, will serve as Secretary. Members selected to serve a two-year term on the Board of Managers include James V. Campbell, Elizabeth Carpenter, Steven R. Decker, Kevin Gerow, Noah J. Graf, Judge Thomas A. Morrissey, Ryan Nolan, and Brandon E. Peck. Pursuant to CBA bylaws, Martin D. Gould, having served as YLS Chair two years prior, also becomes a member of the Board of Managers.

CBA Annual Meeting The CBA’s 150th Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Union League Club of Chicago, starting with an 11:30 a.m. reception followed by luncheon at noon. Outgoing President John C. Sciaccotta, Incoming President Judge Nichole C. Patton, Secretary Trisha Rich, and Treasurer Jonathan B. Ama rilio, among others, will make remarks.
