This special award honors individuals and institutions who have made the law and legal profes sion more accessible to and reflective of the community at large. Law at the Library For the last several years, the CBA has partnered with the Chicago Public Library and the Evanston Public Library to pres ent “Law at the Library,” a free, virtual series for the public that offers legal infor mation and practical insight into today's top legal issues. Each monthly program features a presentation by an attorney followed by a brief question and answer session. Past topics include Divorce and Parental Rights, How to Find a Lawyer, Changes to Tax Law, and Consumer Rights. Upcoming topics include Tips on Buying and Selling a Home, Women's Issues, How to Start a Business, Wills and Estate Planning, and LGBTQIA+ the Law.
