CBA Hosts Forum for Candidates Seeking Supreme Court Seat Five of the candidates seeking a seat on the Illinois Supreme Court participated in a Chicago Bar Association candidate forum February 26 at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago. The forum was moderated by WGN anchor and political analyst Paul Lisnek and the candidates offered their opinions on a wide range of issues including diversity in the courts, best practices for filling court vacancies and delays in the adjudication of cases before the Supreme Court.
