THE YOUNG LAWYERS SECTION

I ncoming Chair Aleksandra Petrovic and the Executive Coun cil were introduced at the 2026–2027 annual meeting of the CBA’s Young Lawyers Section. The meeting also honored YLS members for their service and contributions throughout the year. Petrovic, who earned her JD from Tulane University Law School, is the 56th Chair of the YLS. She is currently Of Coun sel at Kellogg, Abrams, and Jovanovic LLC and previously was an Associate Attorney and Partner at Damisch & Damisch, Ltd. Earlier in her career, she worked with the City of Chicago Department of Buildings General Counsel to help modernize its crane, masonry, and trade regulation codes. She has been recog nized by the Cook County Treasurer for her participation with the Serbian Bar Association of America. “This year our theme will be ‘One Profession, One Com munity’ as we work to bring together our entire bar association and the profession. I could not be more thrilled at the incred ible group of people we have on our YLS Executive team,” said Petrovic. “I hope all of our members enjoy the wonderful events we have planned.” Joining her on the 2026–2027 Executive Council of the YLS are Stephanie Moon of Armstrong Teasdale LLP as First Vice-Chair; Andre A.
