The report was originally called a “Bar Ticket” and has evolved multiple times over years, including in 1976 when it became the Judicial Evalua tion Committee or JEC. This year the JEC, chaired by Brian Boyle, completed its evaluations of the judicial candidates who ran in the June 28, 2022, primary in advance of the start of the early voting period this year. The Committee is now evaluating associate judge candidates. Later this summer, the JEC will begin evaluating judges running for retention in the General Election in November 2022.
