CBA Record July-August 2020
Michael B. Hyman , who loves the CBA and The Record as much as I have loved serving as your Executive Director. Justice Hyman is a “universal donor,” and all of us are better because of his vision and leader- ship. Justice Hyman, with the help of the Record ’s outstanding Editorial Board and Anne Ellis , who is without a doubt the best associate editor and proofreader we have ever had, have kept the CBA Record relevant and in the forefront of all bar association publications. My thanks to his honor, who is a treasured friend, for allow- ing me to miss more than a few deadlines through these many years. I also want to thank my successor, Eliz- abeth (Beth) McMeen , who has been my right hand at the Association for more than 20 years. Beth is very competent and is a pleasure to work with. More importantly, her strong leadership skills, wisdom, grace, and kindness will serve our members well for many years to come. Finally, I’m not sure how I can ever thank all of our members, many of whom I am proud to count as dear friends. Our Public Affairs Director Sally Daly , informed me that I received congratulatory messages from more than 2,600 members on Facebook and more than 1,200 mem- bers on Twitter, a social media record for the CBA! In addition, your congratulatory emails and personal calls have made my journey and love affair with our beloved association truly unforgettable. Thank you, thank you, very much! With best wishes always, Terry
Trisha Rich, Ajay N. Shah, and Adam M. Zebelian . A big thanks to our outgoing CBA Board members: Octavio Duran, Steven Elrod, Sharon Eiseman, Nina Fain, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge LaShonda Hunt, Judge Diane Larson , and Federico Rodriguez .
