To all our Loyal Readers. We hope you enjoyed this iconic issue of CARtoons. To think it has been 50 years since the first appearance of Krass & Bernie created by the legendary George Trosley. Well Happy Anniversary K&B! For the last month, we have been working hard letting all our subscribers know about our Subscription price increase. Because of inflation, we were forced to raise the price to our original price of $39.99 which is still an amazing deal for a 64 page comic book. We received a few replies from subscribers that couldn't afford the price increase which we completely understand and we hope they will join back soon and then the majority of emails was so positive and wish to continue their subscription no matter what. It is so rewarding to hear positive feedback which motivates the entire CARtoons team to continue to work hard and bring you the custom car culture entertainment that we have been doing for 10 years now. It means a lot to us as publishing isn’t easy. As long we continue to get the support and love we have been getting, CARtoons is here to stay for many more years. Once again, THANK YOU! Until next issue, keep on CARtoon’n! With tons of love from the entire CARtoons Team!!! Sincerely; Marc Methot - CEO of CARtoons Magazine Inc. Dear CARtoons, Thank you for the notice. I wish to continue my auto renew subscription at the new price. Love the mags, thanks for continuing the publication. Every time I receive my new issue it brings back memories of my childhood. Keep up the great work. Sincerely, R. James Bringing back those find memories is one of many reasons we work hard to continue to print CARtoons every two months. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank Dear Sir, I enjoyed CARtoons Magazine when I was a teenager over 60 years ago. Then life and a family caught up to me and I lost track of CARtoons. Recently, I learned that CARtoons Mgaazine was up and running again. I looked you up online and took a subscription. When I received my first issue after so many years, it was like a trip back in time. I especially enjoyed your 50th edition inclusion of “Rust in Peace” by Blitztors Studio’s Steve Burnett. His art is refreshingly different and I laughed out loud or as they say today, “I LOL’d!” I hope to see more of Mr. Burnett’s art and humor in the future. Thank you. L. Marshall

Thank you for the kind words and for your support by subscribing to CARtoons. When we hear someone laughed at one of our comic strips, we know then we are on the right path. As for more art from Mr. Burnett in the near future, anything is possible with CSARtoons.

To the CARtoons Staff, I understand the price increase and even with the new price, I'm not about to complain. My Dad started me off with this magazine in the late 80s, I think. I even have his original Hot Rod Cartoons from the 60s. I spent 23 years in the Navy, without it in print and was trying to find some of my youth again after I retired. When I saw it was back in print again, I was thrilled! I don't think many people want to pay more than they have to for anything, but I feel like I'm getting a good deal AND it's delivered to my house. Thank you for the continued reading enjoyment and KEEP EM' COMING! Respectfully, D.Kusnick

Good morning, Please keep our auto-renewal. My kid loves your magazine! You have created a car lover for life! Thank you, W. Horne

There is nothing more rewarding when we here that the young generation loves CARtoons. These youngsters are the future for the automotive industry and we are trying to do our part. Thanks for sharing.

We always appreciate the support. Even with our new subscription price, $6.67 per copy shipped to your door in a protected bag is a great deal for any one thinking to subscribe.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond back, but please CONTINUE my sub scription, I don't mind the extra ten dollars it's worth it to me. I still have quite a few of the original editions from back in the late 1970's with the iron-ons still in them (yes... I was that kid who kept his toys in the original packaging). Words could not describe how excited I got when I realized that CARtoons was being published again. I do have one question though, you brought back Krass and Ernie and some of the other original stuff mixed with new to give the magazine an updated look, how come you never brought back "Tales from the Ole Mechanic" stories? Would love to see that back in the magazine. Anyway, Thank you for bringing CarToons back and please update my subscription don't feel bad about the increase, everyone has been hit hard and nothing stays the same. R. Silipino

Hello, Thanks for putting some of my drawings in The Magazine. I just got a subscription for my birthday. I'm excited. I have a couple of new ones. When it is cold in Montana there is not much to do but draw. I don't keep any of my drawings they all have a home, they are all existing cars that people own and drive. The first five cars are owned by one person who fixes copiers in Billings, The guy who owns the black coupe has had since high school in 1978. There are many stories on some of the others, but I won't carry on. Hope you like them, Thanks for all you do. L. Gustafson Thank you for sharing you talent as we love to share with all our readers. If anyone wants to see his work, check out the My ARTtoons pages in this issue.

We appreciate your continue CARtoons support. As for your question, the original characters and stories are owned by the original Artists. Unless we get in contact with them to use those rights or even have them illustrate for us, legally we can't use that content. Hope this helps.
