CARtoons Magazine Issue #44 2023

To all our Loyal Readers. We hope you have been enjoying each issue of CARtoons. It takes a lot of work to create such stories with each Artist and then to piece it all together to create the ultimate magazine. Even though we have been publishing since 2016, we are still working on getting fully established. With every purchase received and everyone spreading the word that we are back to print, helps us that much closer to reach our goals. In this industry, it is all about your support to keep CARtoons going and we fully thank you every day as we always feel the love. Because of your support, we will continue to provide you fresh entertaining car culture humor with each new magazine to be released! In the meantime, we are still working on some huge projects. It seems to take longer then we thought, but will be well worth the wait. As much as we want to share this great news with you, we will have to wait until we get the green light to announce what we have been doing. So send us over some positive vibes for a successful outcome as you will not be disappointed. Until then, keep enjoying CARtoons as we will continue to do our best for you! With tons of love from the entire CARtoons Team!!! Sincerely; Marc Methot - CEO of CARtoons Magazine Inc.

Thank I'm from Puerto Rico, when I was a child in the late 80s early 90s I stumbled upon one of your magazines. I treasured it for years. I didn't know what collecting was so I eventually lost it. As I kid I looked to buy another but never again did I find it anywhere in Puerto Rico. I've been looking for it everywhere ever since. Now I find out you're producing it again. You have no idea how excited I am. C. Mercado One of our favorite stories to hear is that CARtoons was and still is read around the world. It’s great to see that we are in fact, a worldwide loved magazine! Thanks for sharing your story!

Keep up the great work Marc! We are always anxious for the new issue! Here is my art entry. Thank you. K. Scott Thanks for sharing your talent!

I’ve been reading and collecting your sweet rag for over 40 years. Here’s a couple Covid~stuck at home doodles I did. The original pencils and then some color and customizing ala Procreate Thanks for all the laughs and inspiration. Keep on keeping on! J. Dugan

Thank you for the kind words and definitely for your patience. Because CARtoons are shipped from the USA, Canadian subscribers have to wait longer to get their mags. But it is worth the wait! Hey Marc, the mag showed up in my mailbox in Canada yesterday. It took a while but I got it. Absolutely outstanding that K&B are back. Man did I miss seeing them in CARtoons. Would you believe I have copies of the first 4 issues of CARtoons. No, they're not for sale. Just bragging. If I ever remember I'll take a snap and forward it to ya as proof. The quality of the mag keeps getting better every month. Thanks for putting the Millar page in. He's hokey but he's our roots, right? Gotta' hang up now. Have a good'er! M. Neufeld Was curious if you have a coupon code available for me. I am about to make a large purchase and if I could get some savings, That would be GREAT! I have missed CARtoons for many many years! I am stoked to get my hands on these. I am looking to purchase the poster bundle 1-12 and the back issue 13-24 as well as a subscription. So if you have anything to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! M. Durfee Thank you for your kind words. We have redone our pricing to where you don’t need a coupon code to save. But we all do like to save even more when it comes to ordering, so we highly suggest to use our coupon code: 10cartoons

We love sharing the talent that is out there under “My ARTtoons”. Keep up the great work and for our reading, head to page 19 to see Mr. Dugans work.

My name is Loren Gustafson from Billings Mt, I sell auto parts at a Dodge store. l am longtime fan from the late 80's from 1984 to 1990. I would sell newspapers to get money for comics and fell in love with CARtoons. It's great to have you back. I learned how to draw from George Trosley's How To Draw and I still reference them from time to time. I used to do just black and white, but 2 years ago went to color. I will draw for almost anyone. I usually give them away, some people give me gift certificates to eateries and what not. The GT-350 is a clone, The Triumph has a Big block Cadi engine in it and all of my drawings are of people's actual cars. I try to get picture of them before I draw them . I hope you like them . THANKS L. Gustafson Thank you for sharing your past memories of CARtoons and for sharing your artwork with our readers. Check out Loren Grustafson’s artwork on pg 43 and don’t forget to check out everyone elses!
