A Walk in the Park —an Art Installation

Looking for a little respite from the busy show floor? Then take A Walk in the Park and immerse yourself in an exciting new feature, a custom art installation featuring lighted thermoplastic and 3D printed PETG filament sculptures nestled in a nature-inspired set from artist Meredith Connelly. Connelly is an award winning multidisciplinary artist, best

known for her grand-scale installations that emphasize the interplay of light, science, and technology. Developed from and influenced by the organic qualities of nature, Connelly’s structures are formed using manufactured materials that can accurately capture the elaborate detail of the natural world while also supporting environmental sustainability. AWARD PAVILONS The CAMX Exhibit Hall includes two prestigious award pavilions – the CAMX Awards and the ACE Awards. Finalists will be available in both pavilions to answer any questions during the following dates and times. See below for more details on each pavilion.

ACE AWARDS – Booth C6 Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE), a prestigious composites industry competition, recognizes outstanding achievement and innovation in technology, manufacturing and product development. Awards will be presented in three categories on Tuesday, November 31 from 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm in the ACE Awards Pavilion. The winners will also have a presentation on their submission in the CAMX Theater on Wednesday, November 1 from noon – 1 pm. The ACE Awards pavilion is located on the left side of the Exhibit Hall near the food and beverage area. See the listing of ACE Award Finalists on pages 24 - 25.

CAMX AWARDS – Booth H66 The CAMX Awards recognize the cutting-edge innovations that will significantly impact composites and advanced materials in the marketplace. The submissions on display showcase the visionary concepts and products that show strength through collaboration, while bridging low-cost materials/high-volume applications with high performance applications/low-volume materials. The CAMX Awards are located in the back left of the Exhibit Hall next to the Exhibitor Lounge. See the listing of CAMX Award Finalists on page 22. CAMX Award winners will be announced during the General Session at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31. The winners will also have a presentation on their submission in the CAMX Theater on Tuesday, October 31 from noon – 1 pm.
