Bridge City Boys Vying for Playoff Contention HOUSE OF CARDS

Bridge City’s fundamental strengths will be paramount to its success, which coach Robertson has adamantly encouraged his team to tap into. “We’re pretty balanced as far as scoring goes,” Robertson said. “We can shoot the ball really well from the outside. So, on any given night, we can score plenty of points and beat anybody. On the same note, we can also lose to anybody if we don’ t come ready to play. They [the team] are really buying into the defensive end of things now.” The postseason will be here before you know it and Robertson and Bridge City will certainly be anticipating an appearance.

BRIDGE CITY BOYS HOOP TROUP IS BACK FOR ANOTHER ENTERTAINING FINALE TO THE WINTER SEASON ON THE HARDWOOD. Led by coach Randall Robertson, the Cardinals are looking to make some noise in a tough Class 4A Region III. “We want to continue to get better, one game at a time,” said Robertson. “We want to earn a good district placement by the end of the regular season. After that, we’ll be ready for the playoffs.” Headlining the Cardinals are several key playmakers, including senior guard Walker Britten, who has shown to be a proficient sharpshooter. Sophomore forward Bryce Linder is a versatile piece, while junior Lincoln Breaux has become a leader with a knack for making plays in the paint.
