The University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law welcomed Mary Beth Forester, an alumna of the college, as the new director of the Office of Continuing Legal Education on July 28. Forester previously served as the legal director of the Monuments Workshop at UK. Forester also teaches as a visiting professor of politics at Centre College. She previously served as a decision writer and attorney adjudicator with the Social Security Administration Office of Hearings Operations in Lexington, Kentucky, and served for many years as the director of Con tinuing Legal Education for the Kentucky Bar Association. Before beginning her work in public service, Forester was in private prac tice with Johnson, Judy, True & Guarnieri in Frankfort, and McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland in Lexington, focusing primarily on health care, employment, administrative, and real property law, as well as gen eral civil litigation. She is also a certified mediator. Forester earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky and her B.A. in Philosophy and English from Centre College.
