Stanley has successfully defended healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities at trial against medical negligence claims and advises clients on regulatory and compliance issues. In addition to her experience as a litigation partner

at a national law firm, she has served as chief legal counsel and as director of risk management and compliance for two large non profit organizations. She is a leading speaker on topics of emerging issues in health care regulation, compliance programs, HIPAA, and electronic medical records for attorneys, risk managers, healthcare providers, and business leaders, and is an adjunct professor for the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and UK’s College of Health Sciences. Stanley also serves on the Lexing ton-Fayette Urban County Government Ethics Commission and the Rural Land Management Board, and on the programmatic board for CivicLex, as well as on the Civil Justice Reform Commission for the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Sarah Jarboe spoke at the SEER Spring Con ference in Philadelphia on March 27, 2025. The annual environmental conference presented by the American Bar Association, brings top prac titioners, experts, and thought leaders together for a deep dive into some of the most compelling and timely topics in the field of environment, energy, and resources law. Jarboe, along with three other panelists spoke on “The 411 on 404s:

The Current State of Clean Water Act Section 404 Permitting.” The panel explored the current state of 404 permitting from the legal, environmental, and regulatory perspectives. Nearly two years after the Supreme Court’s narrowing of CWA jurisdiction over wetlands in Sackett, the panel discussed the ways in which that decision has changed the 404 permitting process. In addition, the panel pro vided a primer on the 404 permitting process and addressed the consultation and coordination challenges involved with 404 per mitting and other sources of authority, including Retained Waters under the Rivers and Harbors Act, species consultation under the Endangered Species Act, and Section 106 coordination under the National Historic Preservation Act. now concentrates his practice in the areas of condominium law, commercial real estate law, corporate law, zoning, planning, and development. His clients include large corporations, developers, homebuilders, and numerous homeowners and condominium asso ciations. Hunt earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1980. He earned his B.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati, cum laude , in 1977. Hunt is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky. Steffen has more than 24 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate law, title insurance claims defense, litigation, and foreclosure law. Steffen is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association and is a specialist in residential real property law and is past member of their Real Property Specialty Board. Steffen earned her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University in 1999 and became a licensed attorney in 2000. She earned her B.S. from Northern Kentucky University in 1996. Steffen is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.
