On a personal note, I have been over whelmingly blessed by my military service to this great nation, despite the service-con nected disabilities that I live with daily. My desire to do more for Kentucky’s veterans is borne out of the realization that when America’s veterans succeed, we all suc ceed. Veterans represent the one percent of Americans who have done their part to defend the freedoms of the remaining 99, so we are all on this journey together.
