embracing innovation and advocacy,” Kuhni says. “It’s about redefining our place in the market and on the Hill.” That redefinition is more than symbolic. The chapter is actively building partnerships with other organizations in Utah, such as SHRM and NAIFA, and is drawing new attention for its proactive legislative efforts. “We’ve had people start reaching out to us to ask where we stand on the issues,” Kuhni says. “That didn’t happen before. We’ve built real credibility.” Kuhni is transitioning into the role of past president, where she will continue to support FLN as its advisory chair — a structure the chapter intentionally created to ensure program continuity. Her leadership has helped foster new programs and a new
culture. “We’re bringing back the camaraderie,” Kuhni adds. “For too long, it felt like everyone was in competition. But there’s plenty of business to go around. People just want to connect, learn and grow together.”
