Growing up a daughter of a German immigrant father, I have traveled to Germany countless times to visit family and see the countryside. The summer of 2022 was meant for another trip to Germany but took a turn when a family member became ill. That turn led my husband Sean and I to Portugal—a travel destination I strongly recommend to anyone looking for easy travel, many sights to see and overall enjoyment.
