Love of Art Unites Tenn Mei Lu

“That is more beautiful,” Tenn Lu tells a student while teaching at the Art School at Old Church in Demarest. He goes around the large table, coaching students on composition and use of color. Watching is his artist wife Mei, 73, who arrives from their Haworth home to offer sup portive comments as he teaches. “Less is more,” the 74-year-old award-winning watercolor artist will say to them as they bring brushes from their color-splashed palettes to the paper taped to their angled artists’ boards.
