Alpaca vs. Llama … What’s the difference? By Angela Smith

The problem is that a lot of people don’t know the difference between the two and often see them as the same animal. But there are a lot of differences between the two. Part of the problem could be that these animals weren’t introduced to the United States until the 1900’s, with the alpaca not being transported here until 1984 due to heavy restrictions from South America.
