Camco's 4500W 240V screw-in ripple foldback type Ultra low watt density water heater elements are better suited for areas with problem water (hard water, lime, etc.) Premium Ultra LWD Lime Life elements carry a lim- ited 5 year warranty. Ultra LWD and special metal sur- face (premium grade nickel and stainless steel) reduce chances of lime build-up. They resist dry firing and are ideal for problem water areas and locations with intermit- tent water supply. Screw-in type elements fit most mod- els of American, AO Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster (prior to 1991), GE, GS Wood (certain models), Ken- more, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Rudd, Sears, State, Whirlpool and all water heaters manufactured after 1994. The replacement ele- ment must be the same voltage and wattage as the ele- ment being replaced. Never exceed the nameplate rating on the water heater. The element is a 1-3/8" thread screw-in.

Screw-in foldback type high watt density water heater elements can be used in all replacement situations if the same wattage and voltage are used. High Watt Density are the most common and the same type of element provided with most water heaters. They are easy to install and come with detailed instructions on how to replace your old element. Screw-in type elements fit most models of American, AO Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster (prior to 1991), GE, GS Wood (certain mod- els), Kenmore, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Rudd, Sears, State, Whirlpool and all water heaters manufactured after 1994. The replace- ment element must be the same voltage and wattage as the element being replaced. Never exceed the name- plate rating on the water heater.

Screw In Element Camco's 4500W 240V screw-in type low watt density water heater elements are bet- ter suited for areas with problem water (hard water, lime, etc.) Most LWD elements are a fold-back style and provide no loss of efficiency yet reduce lime deposit buildup. This screw-in element has 1-3/8" thread and is made for State Industries manufac- tured Duron Tank Water Heaters. Also used in Sears Duron tank water heaters. Each element includes two gaskets.
