HOW BROKERS ARE USING GLOBAL-READY HR SYSTEMS TO BEAT THEIR COMPETITORS

By Jon Siders Director of Channel Sales Rippling Los Angeles, CA

I’ve seen this shift directly impact the role of a broker. Brokers are now expected to be trusted advisors for the en tire employee-management space in addition to delivering competitive benefits, HR consulting resources and software recommendations to streamline client workflows. More recently, they’ve also been tapped to help clients fig ure out the most efficient way to manage a global workforce, and the data we’re seeing internally supports this shift. From December 2020 to December 2022, the number of interna tional employees or contractors for our customers increased by 220%. For this and many other reasons, more brokers are turning to all-in-one global solutions to beat competitors and win new business. Brokers who fail to stay ahead of the latest global solutions run the risk of losing clients and being left behind in today’s changing economy. These are my recommendations for bro kers who are interested in building their global toolkit:

The pandemic fundamentally shifted the way companies think about managing their workforce and running their businesses. Remote and hybrid work opened up a global talent pool that was previously inaccessible, and this shift has the potential to revolutionize the way companies ap proach hiring. I anticipate that companies will continue to rely on recruiting employees and contractors from countries all around the world. WHILE YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS, YOU SHOULD HAVE A SURFACE-LEVEL UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR ISSUES AND A LIST OF RECOMMENDATIONS.
