Making a Difference

In late May, Andy Biernat, former NYSAHU president, participated in a press conference at the NY State Capitol alongside several members of the Assembly, Eric Linzer/NY Health Plan Asso ciation and the Business Council of NYS in support of legislation that would expand Essential Plan coverage to undocumented New Yorkers. This legislation is supported by several organi zations, including unions, NY State Conference of Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, New York Health Plan Association, The Business Council of New York State and The New York Immigrant Coalition.
