VOLUNTARY DISRUPTION
er broker partners and their employer group clients milk every last drop of the good PR and the positive marketing ‘halo effect’ that comes with offering a pet-friendly benefit. Did I mention how high employee en gagement goes when you add pet benefits to the mix? Sadly, to me, as a 23+ year industry professional—employees are quicker to click on pet benefits to learn more and get a quote than they are to click and learn about disability, life, hospital indemnity, etc. Well, you know the saying, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em”—and that’s what I’ve done and encourage you to do. Stop solely focusing on the benefits you know people need and be sure to add in the “warm and fuzzy” benefits (pardon the pun) that we know people want. That’s how you move the employee engage ment needle like you’ve never done before. As always, if you’d like to learn more, don’t be shy—reach out and let’s chat.
