Specifically designed for people of all abilities, the Critter Barn and Holland Aquatic Center are tied for their dedication to providing equitable fun for everyone. Enjoy the full experience of a day on the farm or a small indoor water park at these outstanding facilities. Dutch Village and Windmill Island Gardens also have accommodations to provide accessible experiences, including wheelchairs available for use on site. Holland is full of parks, and most have accessible features. The inclusive playground at Smallenburg Park is boundless, and Moran Park has adaptive play elements including a wheelchair ramp. One of the top accessible parks in West Michigan, Holland State Park has seasonal beach wheelchairs and accessible pathways down to the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan, in addition to accessible sitting areas. For those driving into town, there is ADA parking throughout the region and at all major attractions. Flying in? Grand Rapids airport has a sensory room, wheelchairs, and their staff will assist with boarding and exiting the aircraft. Lakeshore Express taxi service will meet you curbside and wheelchairs. Once in town, our city-owned transportation system, MAX Transit, offers several ADA resources to passengers.
