All About Holland 2026
THINGS TO DO
Public Art
With nearly 100 outdoor installations, Holland showcases art in unexpected places. Murals bring buildings to life - giant flowers bloom outside 205 Coffee Bar, a bicycle sprocket spins across the walls of Velo City Cycles, and a two-story tribute to the Latino community graces the façade of the Holland Armory. Sculptures turn the city into a scavenger hunt: find bronze musicians beneath a Norway maple, a dogsledder crafted from scrap metal, and the sandstone figure Zhdondige-kwe . More than half the artwork is within walking distance of downtown’s 8th Street, with more scattered throughout the community. Pick up a printed Downtown Public Art Tour at the visitors bureau or explore with the mobile version at holland.org .
