All About Holland 2026
Arts + Entertainment
From bold murals to soaring symphonies, Holland’s arts scene makes an impression. Wander through local galleries, enjoy soul-stirring performances, or catch an outdoor concert. With public art and creative series year-round, there’s always something to spark your imagination.
Creative Series
Holland invites art lovers to enjoy a year-round lineup of creative programming celebrating film, literature, and the performing arts. Hope College curates the Great Performance Series, drawing renowned musicians, dance companies, and actors from across the globe. The Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series offers thought-provoking readings and conversations with celebrated authors, while the Knickerbocker Theatre screens seasonal selections of acclaimed arthouse films. Rounding out this rich cultural tapestry, Hope Repertory Theatre captivates audiences with professionally staged, award-winning productions that highlight both classic works and contemporary storytelling.
Ensembles
Experience an inspired musical journey with the Holland Symphony or Holland Chorale, where each season brings everything from classical masterworks to holiday favorites. During the summer, enjoy free concerts by the American Legion Band set against the scenic shores of Lake Macatawa.
Galleries
Once you’ve experienced the contemporary and centuries-old Dutch art exhibits at the Holland Museum, head to the Holland Area Arts Council to view works by talented regional artists. Nearby, the Kruizenga Art Museum is a center for curiosity, inspiration, and cultural exploration, as are the galleries and studios throughout town. At your leisure, muse over oil paintings, handcrafted hardwood bowls, hazy watercolors, and one-of-a-kind jewelry by artisans from nearby and around the world.
