All About Holland 2025
Tulip Time
May 2-11
Each spring in Holland, millions of tulips usher in Tulip Time, the world's longest-running tulip festival. Since 1929, the City of Holland has celebrated its Dutch roots with this beautiful display. Today, the city celebrates with much more than its trademark tulips. Throughout the festival, you'll enjoy nightly entertainment, parades, and the world-famous Dutch Dancers. 2025 marks 90 years of Dutch Dance. Imagine hundreds of Hollanders dressed in traditional Dutch clothing and performing historic folk dances, and you’ve conjured up one of the highlights of the festival experience. You can hear the klomping of their wooden shoes echo from blocks away! Tulip Time’s kinder (children’s) and volks (people’s) parades involve the whole town, including costumed school children, street scrubbers, and marching bands. Participants hail from many nationalities, and the local Latino community even partners to host the festival’s grand finale – a giant lakeshore fireworks display!
