Saugatuck Dunes State Park With 2 ½ miles of shoreline, this 1,000-acre park is home to freshwater coastal dunes over 200 feet tall. Pick from a variety of trails to make the 2/3-mile trek to Lake Michigan from the picnic and parking area. 6575 138th Ave, Holland $ • X • Î Tunnel Park Climb a dune staircase to panoramic views of Lake Michigan, or take a shortcut through the namesake tunnel to a rolling sandy beach. A great place for a picnic, Tunnel Park is the spot to unwind as the kids race up and tumble down a soaring sand dune.
