Specifically designed with adaptive equipment, Critter Barn allows people of all abilities to enjoy a day on the farm. The Holland Aquatic Center provides fun water environments for those with unique intellectual and physical needs. Sperry Moviehouse has Fidelio receivers for people requiring visual and auditory assistance, and both Windmill Island Gardens and Nelis’ Dutch Village have complimentary wheelchairs available for use on site.

Holland is full of parks, and most have accessible features. The inclusive playground at Smallenburg Park is boundless, and Moran Park’s newly updated one has adaptive play elements including a wheelchair ramp. One of the top wheelchair accessible parks in West Michigan, Holland State Park has a pathway down to the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan, beach wheelchairs, and accessible sitting areas, so everyone can enjoy a spectacular lakeside sunset.
