All About Holland 2024
Tulip Time
May 4-12
A bucket-list item for many, Tulip Time began in 1929 when the City of Holland saw its first crop of 100,000 tulips bloom. Since then, Holland has blossomed each spring with millions of tulips, and Tulip Time has grown to be much more than a flower festival. Tulip Time parades are some of the largest and most spectacular events in Michigan. Thousands of spectators line the streets to watch flowering floats, marching bands, and Dutch Dancers in over two miles of pure celebration. Throughout the week, Dutch Dancers also perform around our vibrant town, high kicking their wooden shoes through traditional folk dances. Beyond the beautiful blooms, this special week offers a great variety of national and local entertainment, a carnival, fireworks, and much, much more. 2023 International Flower Festival of the Year
