Same Talent, Different Opponents Could Bode Well for Taylor VB NEW beginnings WHILE LAST FALL FEATURED VARYING DEGREES OF SUCCESS FOR THE ALIEF TAYLOR VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM, THE UIL REALIGNMENT COULD POTENTIALLY OFFER THE SQUAD MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO REACH THE POSTSEASON. Coach Toni Smith brings back a bevy of starters as they look to match up against newer competition, such as Fulshear, Foster and George Ranch. Senior Kearstyn Spears has been a staple for the team from the setter position, which is unlikely to change anytime soon. Saniya Williams (Jr. OH), Mykah Edison (So. OH) will provide the offensive pressure, alongside junior middle-blockers Amaiya Wade and Omotola Oguns. Meanwhile, senior libero Nicole Ngo will shore up the Lions’ defense.
