We’ve been building the last three or four year and have a group of kids who have bought into the training and the process. Last year was a good indication as to where we are going in the future. I had a phenomenal runner who qualified for State in Bissinatt Abdelasis and she leads the way for us. Getting kids to buy into what cross country is can be tough. It’s a hard sport. If you are willing to put in the work, the results will come. But it’s a slow process. Our team is based on discipline … it’s just like life. We wake up early and finish late. We just put in the work. We also do things right in the classroom.
