We have a team-first mentality. We don’t rely on one big star, so we expect contributions from everyone— whether it’s the starting pitcher or someone coming off the bench. Every player has a role. I put everything I have into this program. Like I’ve told the guys, I don’t have a lot in my life, but what I do have is them. If I’m going to invest my time into something, I’m going to go all in.
