BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

POWER OF PINK The Real Men Wear Pink campaign drives change to help fight breast cancer. P ink is more than a color. It symbolizes our commitment as

a community to combating breast cancer and alleviating the burdens of a breast cancer diagnosis. Not only will more than 2,700 men in the United States be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, but so will over 287,500 of their daughters, wives, mothers, sisters and friends. In 2022, more than 68,000 people are expected to die from the dis ease nationwide. This October, local leaders are harness ing the power of pink. These American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink can didates wear pink all October and raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding innovative research, providing education to help people reduce their risk and offering comprehen sive patient support so that no one faces breast cancer alone. The American Cancer Society is thrilled to announce the volunteer leadership of Steve Hendricks and Mike Badzik as the 2022 Real Men Wear Pink of Akron-Canton-Youngstown campaign chairs.
