Since opening in November 1926, the Canton Palace Theatre has served as a vital multipur pose entertainment facility for Canton, Stark County and Northeast Ohio. Its marquee burns brightly 60 feet above Market Avenue, welcom ing you to enter its grand foyer and become a part of Canton’s nostalgic past inside the walls of an atmospheric theater. The Canton Palace Theatre Association main tains the architectural integrity of its historic theater and partners with others to present cultural, entertainment and educational experi ences for the community. In keeping with this mission, the board of directors is looking to the organization’s future with a planned expansion to coincide with the theater’s 100th anniversary. The Canton Palace Theatre’s 100th Anniversary Capital Project aims to expand the historic venue, enhancing the customer experience with modern amenities and increased accessibility to ensure its cultural significance for future generations.
