OHIO LI V ING SALUTES 100 YEARS

This year as we celebrate Ohio Living’s centennial, we focus on cherishing the legacy that has carried us for the past 100 years. Much has changed, but our values of faith, compassion and community are as resolute as they were when our first senior community, Dorothy Love, was founded in Sidney in 1922. Ohio Living has since operated 12 senior living communities, including Rockynol in Akron, which opened its doors in 1966 and has expanded to include independent living apartments in 1988, a skilled nursing facility in 1992, the Myrna & Hugh Porter Chapel in 2011, a rehabilitation center in 2015 and a new assisted living facility in 2016. You can feel the sense of community when you walk through our doors, witness people putting their faith into action and see our staff members’ compassion as they serve residents and patients with diligence and heartfelt care. We invite you to celebrate our 100-year legacy with us! To learn more about our 100-year journey, visit us at ohioliving100th.org.
