Financial Support from KeyBank Helps Boost Akron Public Schools SPONSORED CONTENT

KeyBank and the KeyBank Foundation are proud to support Akron Public Schools. We are dedicated to connecting our neighbors, communities and students to opportunities that allow them to thrive, and the Financial Services Lab inside the East Community Learning Center, along with the KeyCash program, are just two of the many ways we can accomplish that. Since its inception in 2019, the KeyCash program has proven to have a positive impact on students who attend East CLC. The program allows students to accumulate KeyCash for behaviors such as earning good grades or demonstrating positive behaviors and good citizenship. They then have the opportunity to purchase items in the school store or tickets to experiences such as football games or prom. For the 2023-2024 school year, KeyBank is thrilled to support the program with

an additional $15,000 grant, bringing our total support to more than a half a million dollars since 2019. East CLC expects the KeyCash program to record even greater success as students increase their financial literacy skills, preparing them for life after high school.

KeyBank is grateful for the transformative partnership with Akron Public Schools that allows us to bring our financial wellness message to students and give them the tools they need to form good habits and be successful in their professional and personal lives.
