CALL THE MIDWIFE HOLIDAY SPECIAL

It is December 1967 and with Christmas fast approaching, life in Poplar is returning to normal after the terrible train crash. The midwives move the maternity clinic into new premises and are delighted when one of the first patients through the door is a familiar face. Meanwhile, Fred decides that Poplar needs to come together to raise money for those families still affected by the train crash and pitches the idea of a festive talent show.

Call the Midwife airs December 25 at 8 p.m.

HOPE STREET Set in the fictional town of Port Devine on the Northern Irish coast, this new series focuses on Port Devine’s police department and the mysterious arrival of English Detective Constable Leila Hussain, the first Muslim police officer in the town’s history.

Hope Street airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. beginning December 10.

IN A DIFFERENT KEY A mother tracks down the first person ever diagnosed with autism, now an elderly man living in rural Mississippi, to learn if his life story holds promise for her own autistic son. Meet the sellers looking to cash in and the buyers willing to part with huge sums of money to complete their collections.
