Never shying away from a task, Becky is always an energetic contributor and a role model for how a young person, with a family and a job, can still contribute to the organization and the places they love. Brian completed his climbs in 1998 on Mt. Marcy and his winter climbs in 2010. Brian has served as President, Vice President, and past President. Brian Hoody, #4410WV Fall 46er Dinner, September 28, 2024 S harp Swan, #566WV, provided an engaging lecture on the devastating impact the fires of 1903, 1908, and 1913 had on the high peaks. Sharp shared numerous pictures that illustrated the ruins, including desolate views of mountain summits and open grassy mountainsides alongside current day photos that still depict evidence of these blazes on our mountain views.

Brian was involved in the development of the Trailhead Steward Program, the trademark work, orga nizes all of the Trail Crew documentation and has been a Trailmaster for several years. Brian’s involvement in numerous committees has been observable and mea surable through the years and his contributions continue today. Brian is an author, a contributor to PEEKS , he has attended stewardship conferences, and he continues to do outreach presentations today. Brian is a busy dad and helps coach kids' sports teams. Brian brings a passion for the outdoors, a calming demeanor, a sense of humor, and many skill sets to all of his volunteer tasks. Whether it is grubbing in the mud, behind-the-scenes organization pa perwork, or sharing his thoughts on a legal issue, Brian is there!
