Adirondack Peeks Winter 2023

Thank you so very much. We enjoyed the workshop immensely. It was not only insightful, but tremendously inspiring. Below is what I posted on Facebook regard ing this fantastic weekend. Jamie and I are very grate ful for all that the 46er volunteers do for others and for our community. Yes! I can't wait to be able to hike to my heart's content. It was a true pleasure meeting you and learning so much from you and everyone else. Jamie and I spent the weekend camping at the Ad irondack Loj to participate in an outdoor skills work shop. Taught by the finest of the finest: Adirondack 46er Volunteers. This event was a learning experi ence beyond outdoor skills. The sharing of their out door adventures, leadership, courage, compassion, grit, devotion, physical skills and abilities and pas

sion, inspired us to pursue even a fraction of that life. I'm thankful for having been able to attend this with my son Jamie. Given my recent (8 weeks in) rotator cuff surgery, I had planned on cancelling this trip. But Jamie has been my rock during my recovery and he not only encouraged me to attend, but supported me in every aspect during this trip. I'm so grateful to have slowed down to a crawling pace with my surgery and recent unexpected departure from my job (which of fered an attractive package), to look around in con templation of God's blessings, and be attentive to His plans for me.
