Camco's 4500W 240V screw-in ripple foldback type Ultra low watt density water heater elements are better suited for areas with problem water (hard water, lime, etc.) Premium Ultra LWD Lime Life elements carry a lim- ited 5 year warranty. Ultra LWD and special metal sur- face (premium grade nickel and stainless steel) reduce chances of lime build-up. They resist dry firing and are ideal for problem water areas and locations with intermit- tent water supply. Screw-in type elements fit most mod- els of American, AO Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster (prior to 1991), GE, GS Wood (certain models), Ken- more, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Rudd, Sears, State, Whirlpool and all water heaters manufactured after 1994. The replacement ele- ment must be the same voltage and wattage as the ele- ment being replaced. Never exceed the nameplate rating on the water heater. The element is a 1-3/8" thread screw-in.

Screw-in foldback type high watt density water heater elements can be used in all replacement situations if the same wattage and voltage are used. Screw In Element Camco's 4500W 240V screw-in type low watt density water heater elements are bet- ter suited for areas with problem water (hard water, lime, etc.) Most LWD elements are a fold-back style and provide no loss of efficiency yet reduce lime deposit buildup. This screw-in element has 1-3/8" thread and is made for State Industries manufac- tured Duron Tank Water Heaters. Also used in Sears Duron tank water heaters. Each element includes two gaskets.
