Hill-Rom 850 (refurbished) The Hill-Rom 850 is ideal for an Acute Care facility. This bed has a retractable frame that keeps the head section in line with the nightstand for better patient comfort. The bed also comes with a CPR release and Patient Nightlight. Features: 16.5” low to 30.5” high, 35” x 84” sleep surface, 500 lb weight capacity, Trendelenberg positions, automatic contour, new head and footboards. “Avalon” headboard and footboard are standard. Other styles are available as an upgrade.

The Hill-Rom Critical Care bed is ideal for Intensive Care or Critical Care units. This bed comes standard with a radiolucent head section that allows for in-bed X-Ray along with a patient scale. What does “refurbished” mean? Our refurbishing process includes:

Remove parts for inspection and reconditioning; headboard/footboard, rails, sleep surfaces, circuit boards, motors, drive shafts, caster and wheels Complete sanitation of bed and all parts Remove hidden dust and debris; air blow Complete bed frame refinishing: sand, repair welds and paint complete bed frame, rails, sleep surfaces and motor covers Re-zinc springs on spring sleep surfaces, wash and sanitize the metal grid surface Install new wheels, replace caster assemblies as needed: stems, forks and brakes Install plastics on side rails: top canes, end canes and switch housings; replace as needed Install reconditioned switches in side rails: head, high-low and knee

Test bed communications: entertainment, nurse call and bed exit; function test using manufacturer test equipment Recondition all electrical and mechanical components Clean and test circuit boards under full load Test motors, grease drive assemblies Replace all motor couplings and capacitors Test high voltage insulation & ground leakage to manufacturer specifications Replace labels with new safety warnings and safety instructions Install and fit-test headboard and footboard with customer choice of color laminate
