It’s time to get back on the road! In season 2, Road Trip Iowa will explore the state along the historic Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway, catch the stunning views on the Driftless Area Scenic Byway, drive over the rolling mounds of the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway, and discover the best places to stop along the way.

Road Trip Iowa season 2 premieres April 9 at 6:30 p.m.

NATURE: KATAVI: AFRICA’S FALLEN PARADISE Katavi National Park is a remote wilderness, spanning 3,000 square miles of western Tanzania. Here lions, hippos and crocodiles live more or less in harmony, until an unusual climatic cycle transforms the natural dry season into the toughest drought in almost a century, followed by heavy rains. Desperation pushes all of the animals to the edge of their endurance, testing their survival skills.

Nature: Katavi: Africa’s Fallen Paradise airs April 2, 9 and 16 at 7 p.m.

ASD BAND: THE MOVIE Follow the members of ASD Band as they embark on the journey to record their first studio album and proudly own their unique perspectives as individuals on the autism spectrum. The program also features heartfelt accounts from friends and family members surrounding the band who are focused on fostering a community that understands, accepts and values their children.

ASD Band: The Movie airs April 28 at 9 p.m.

INDEPENDENT LENS: FREE FOR ALL: THE PUBLIC LIBRARY

A beloved American institution, the public library’s founding principle is simple: build a place where anyone can enter, free of charge, and encounter a universe of ideas. This film chronicles the evolution of the American public library’s trajectory, from the original “Free Library Movement” that began in the late 19th century to the present, when many libraries find themselves struggling to survive amid budget cuts and closures.

Independent Lens: Free for All: The Public Library airs April 29 at 9 p.m.
