Carol Austin, Guest Services

Dear Austin Adventures, I just received the gift card you sent - thank you! It brought me back to an experience I had in Alberta, Canada, on my very first Austin Adventures vacation. It was the second day of our trip, and I’d set off with Will and a few others to hike Sentinel Pass. It was rigorous, but we made it to the top of the pass, and as we gazed out over the magnificent Paradise Valley, some 9,000-feet below, Will appeared with a silver tray full of cream cakes. Cream cakes!!! What a delightful surprise! This memory triggered another, from a more recent Yellowstone adventure. Rob had just led us on an incredible hike along the “Grand Canyon” of Yellowstone, which culminated in an astounding view at Artist Point, of the iconic Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. We were still marveling over the beautiful vista as we continued down the trail and around a curve - and there was Kira, with a silver tray of yogurt parfaits. Another delightful surprise!!! Again, thank you for the thoughtful and unexpected gift. The memories it triggered reminded me that you are, after all, in the “delightful surprise” business. Thanks again, Sherry R. ' '
