AREA OF SERVICE: Tucson, AZ; Concord, San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO; Browning, MT; Albany, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, NY; Tulsa, OK; Philadelphia, PA; Narragansett, Providence, Pawtucket, RI; Memphis, TN; El Paso, TX; Racine, WI; Washington, DC LENGTH OF SERVICE: One year, renewable, starting late July/early August. REQUIREMENTS: Single men and women, married couples without dependents, ages 21 years and older. College graduate. Interested in living with an organized, faith-based community (applicants need not be Catholic or Christian). Driver's license and birth certificate. A criminal history review and child abuse history clearance. Personal interview. FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS: Room and board, small stipend, medical insurance, transportation to and frommission site. LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Volunteers live in Community to gain full access to the world of the poor and to the school/social service agency. Sharing Community with the Brothers and Lasallian Partners provides an intergenerational support structure. Together, the Community shares meals, reflection, friendly support, laughter, friendship with LVs, and activities such as Community socials and outings. Community provides the forum for mentoring by talented professionals on how to adapt one's talents and enthusiasm for effective results with students or clients. Both the local community and the Community of Volunteers, Brothers and Lasallian Partners past and present provide support for the arduous work. SIZE OF PROGRAM: 50 to 55 volunteers TRAINING: Volunteers attend a ten-day orientation concentrating on their future service and community experience. On-site orientation. There are also opportunities to attend regional retreats/convocations. Volunteers gather for a midyear and debriefing retreat over the course of the service year. TYPE OF PLACEMENT: Our work overseas includes healthcare, education, technical and vocational training, administration, pastoral ministry, computers, etc. AREA OF SERVICE: Our lay missioners work in Ecuador and Papua New Guinea. Potential new sites in Ghana and Uganda. LENGTH OF SERVICE: Three years, renewable. REQUIREMENTS: Practicing Catholic, single, married, ages 22 to 62 years (upper age negotiable), U.S. citizen. Physical and psychological testing. College education and certification required for most positions. Work experience. FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS: Room and board provided overseas, stipend, medical insurance. Transportation to and frommission site. Lay missionaries expected to do some fund raising to offset costs.

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Living arrangements vary. Some live alone. Some live with other members, other religious or expatriates. Couples and families have private housing options. We strive to send new lay missioners in groups of two or more to an already existing LMH community. SIZE OF PROGRAM: Average of eight volunteers per year. TRAINING: Four-month preparation which includes theology, scripture, spirituality, cross cultural issues, adult development, and other workshops. Candidates live in a community house in Los Angeles during the training. Language studies provided overseas. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Any time. Through this program, Leadership Roundtable seeks to support a new generation of Catholic leaders who are committed to excellence in management and leadership, while grounding them in the values of their faith and service to the common good. TYPE OF PLACEMENT: Do you dream about a job in ministry but want to learn best practices in management to help you lead in a faith-based environment? Or do you long for a corporate job where you balance your career and Catholic faith? Then consider joining Leadership Roundtable Fellows program that offers a one- year, faith-based experience in Washington, DC. You will have the opportunity to live in community with other local Catholic volunteers, serve full-time at Leadership Roundtable, and develop abroad. skill set of best practices in management and leadership to help you successfully transition to a ministry or career. You will gain confidence, skills, professional network, and lived experience from which you can make more informed choices about your career direction. This program will expose you to a range of options and give you professional coaching and guidance to discern next steps. Fellows will work in entry level professional positions, concentration on either nonprofit management, fundraising, programs, communications, operations and finance, or a combination thereof based on Fellow's skills/interests and the needs of the organization at the time. Each department's tasks are slightly different but most will include a combination of administration, communication, research, organization, data entry, and writing. AREA OF SERVICE: Washington, DC LENGTH OF SERVICE: 12 months from start date. Ideally, we would like the Fellow(s) to start in August, but are flexible based on needs and fit. REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be Catholic, 21-30 years and older, with no dependents, and a US social security number. Completed Bachelor's degree. The program applicant should have a committed faith life, a willingness and desire to grow personally, professionally and spiritually, a desire to live in an intentional, faith-based community, and a heart for service.
